    Sorocaba “Reacap” against COVID-19 for the Elderly, Education and Health Professionals | Sorocaba and Gondaiye

    The Sorocaba Ministry of Health (SP) will conduct a “recap” of the Covid-19 vaccination with the second dose of CoronaVac for elderly people over the age of 64 and education and health professionals on Wednesday (26).

    According to the secretariat, the application will be submitted from 8 am to 12 noon for elderly people over the age of 64, and education and health professionals born between January and June. Already, seniors over the age of 64 and professionals born between July and December will be vaccinated from 12 noon until 4 pm.

    The vaccination for those who have not yet been immunized will take place with the second application, through the leadership system, in the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, located on Avenida Dr. Afonso Vergueiro, 555, is in the center.

    There will also be a vaccination center for those who arrive on foot. Three thousand doses of CoronaVac will be provided and no appointment will be necessary.

    It is necessary to present an ID card with a photo and proof of applying the first dose. The secretariat assures that the vaccine must know how to report a CPF or obtain a document, as well as proof of residency.

    In Sorocaba, 225,228 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 have already been applied to the population, which equates to the vaccination of nearly 154,000 people, between the first and second doses.

    The municipality has already received 268,887 doses of the vaccine against Covid-19, with 118,760 from AstraZeneca (Oxford) and 150,127 from CoronaVac.

    At the point of vaccination, there will also be a batch of non-perishable foods. The aim is to distribute food to socially vulnerable families in the city. Donating is voluntary, and is open to anyone who wants and can contribute.
