Through Normative Instruction No. 01/2024, published in Diário da Justiça on Thursday (02), the European Court of Justice required beneficiaries of health aid to provide evidence of expenditures for accountability purposes in relation to the amounts received for the benefit.
The instructions also stipulate that civil servants and judges can also request reimbursement for medications, laboratory and hospital services not covered by health plans.
Proof must be submitted through the Health Aid Application System (SSAS). Expenditures incurred in fiscal year 2022 and in the first half of fiscal year 2023 must be recognized by June 30, 2024. The text of the decision specifies that the beneficiary must indicate, in the system, the total value of expenses incurred with the holder and any of their dependents (specifying the relationship of kinship), the name of the medical or dental assistance plan company, and attach the following receipts.
It is worth noting that the Personnel Management Secretariat (SGP), through outreach to the group, informed that it would promote a “SGP Explains” project meeting with guidance on standard instructions.
The Collective Council of SindJustiça Ceará informs that it will carefully evaluate the standard instructions and eliminate doubts with the administration, in order to provide support to this category.
