    Featuring English stars, one of the most traditional tracks in global motorsport has been confirmed on the Formula 1 calendar for another ten years.

    The renewal was announced on the circuit's social media by drivers Lando Norris, of McLaren, and George Russell, of Mercedes.

    – Silverstone for another ten years, my friend. – Russell says to Norris.

    Home to 58 grands prix in Formula 1 history, Silverstone is considered one of the most traditional circuits on the calendar, along with Monza and Monaco. It is worth noting that the track was the first track to score World Championship points in 1950.

    Among the memorable moments, Lewis Hamilton's emotional victory in 2020 stands out. On that occasion, the seven-time champion of the category won the British Grand Prix with one of his tires blown, after spending most of the last lap with a damaged tyre.

    1. Lewis Hamilton: 8 wins (2008, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021);
    2. Alain Prost: 5 wins (1983, 1985, 1989, 1990 and 1993);
    3. Jim Clark: 3 wins (1963, 1965, 1967)

    The 2024 Formula 1 season will begin on March 2, when cars will be on the grid for the Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain. This will be the biggest season in history and will include 24 major prizes.

    The Silverstone race will take place from July 5 to 7.
