    King Charles III has thanked messages of support since revealing his cancer diagnosis last week. In a statement issued on Saturday the 10th, the King said such thoughts were “a great comfort and encouragement”.

    “It's great to know how publicizing my own diagnosis has helped to improve public understanding and shine a light on the work of all the organizations that support cancer patients and their families in the UK and around the world,” she said in a statement. .

    “My undying appreciation for your tireless care and dedication is even greater as a result of my own experience”

    The British monarch is recovering at Sandringham Estate in eastern England after his first treatment for an unspecified type of cancer.
