The ‘Empress of Soul’, Gladys Knight, will return to the stage for the last time in 2024. As he embarks on his ‘farewell tour’, he will visit several countries in the UK and promise a grand farewell. Their show is scheduled to start on June 24th in Glasgow, Scotland.

He will also perform in Birmingham, Swansea, Bournemouth, Nottingham and Southend. During this round of performances, he will perform at London’s Royal Albert Hall, where he will be accompanied by guests. Micah Miller, one of the UK’s most critically acclaimed modern soul stars. All tickets for his upcoming tour go on sale from Friday 6th October.
Gladys, 79, started her career in the 1950s with her family as Gladys Knight and the Pips. Early in their career, they opened for some of the biggest names in rhythm and blues, including Sam Cooke, Ike and Tina Turner, Little Richard and BB King. In 1961, the group achieved its first rhythm and blues (R&B) hit “Every beat of my heart”.

Few singers in the past 50 years have matched the artistry of Knight, who has won seven Grammy Awards and topped genres ranging from pop and R&B to gospel. In addition, he has written more than 40 albums, composed soundtracks, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and is in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame. Knight has also been in a variety of television shows, movies, and theater productions.
