We tested Tecno Pova 5 in its Free Fire themed version. The average cell phone has the appeal of a different design and comes with some extras for gamers, especially for those who love this very popular game in Brazil.

Pova 5’s design reminds us of Mechas, the famous human-controlled robots that are very popular in many games. This most unusual appearance shows that we are facing a gaming-type cell phone, although it does not have LED lights on the back because it is an affordable product. However, there is a private steam room to deal with any heat on the long games.

Here we have a 6.78-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and the IPS LCD certified panel does not stand out in terms of brightness for the category. At least there is high quality stereo sound with decent power to ensure a good multimedia experience.

The device consists of Helio G99 chipset and 8GB of RAM. This combination, together with the well-optimized Tecno software, ensures a good multimedia experience while opening the cell phone to several applications at the same time. The large 6000mAh battery provides a long battery life of up to two days and the 45W charger takes just over an hour to charge.

The weakest part of the Tecno Pova 5 is the photo gallery. On the back there is a 50MP camera and a 0.08MP sensor blur. Don’t expect a lot from the photos, though they won’t disappoint in low light. The interface takes good selfies, while the camcorder records an extraordinary resolution of 1440p.

Is it worth buying PUFA 5? If you care more about games than camera, this will be a good choice. For all the details, simply access our full review via the link below:

TECNO Pova 5 is not yet available in Brazilian stores. To be notified upon arrival.
