    a Petrobras (PETR4) has 47 projects in the new PAC portfolio, including nine exploration wells in New Frontiers, such as Equatorial Margin, which still need a license, the company’s chief executive, Jean-Paul Pratis, said on Friday.

    He also noted that all projects included in the PAC are already included in the Petrobras Business Plan 2023-2027, which was previously announced.

    Among the pledges included in the federal program, the executive also listed production systems in the Campos, Santos and Sergipe basins, natural gas flow projects and capacity increase and refinery improvements.

    According to Prates, new projects by the state-owned company may enter the PAC later, after investments are identified in the Petrobras Business Plan 2024-2028.

    Braskem

    The CEO of Petrobras Oil Company said that Petrobras does not intend to re-nationalize the petrochemical company Braskem.

    Petrobras is a partner at Braskem. The CEO’s speech came amid speculation about who will get the stake in Novonor, which wants to sell its stake in the petrochemical company.
