The Municipality of Dvinopolis, through the Municipal Secretariat of Culture (Semc), congratulates Dvinopolitan filmmaker Alison Resende for the selection of her short film “Tempo” at the Lift-off Global Network Sessions in the United Kingdom.

Cinematography sheds light on existence, feelings, relationships, life and our relationship with the past. The film is another independent production by Alison and was recorded at Dvinopolis.

The festival website will be held online from July 24 to August 7. First, online voting will be open to the public, and then a special jury will also scrutinize and give the final verdict.

Filmmaker Alison Resende hints at the prospect. “For me, it’s pride in a festival that’s so important to do a work that represents our city, our local actors and our country 100% independently,” he said.

The festival is affiliated with Pinewood Studios, the film and television studio that produces blockbuster films and series such as Disney’s latest live-actions. The event is taking place simultaneously in Berlin, Manchester, Tokyo, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Austin, Amsterdam, Paris, Sydney, Melbourne and London.
