Sean Strickland and Abus Magomedov will face off in a middleweight contenders meeting tonight, while the duo will face off in the main event of UFC Fight Night.

The 32-year-old American Strickland is chasing back-to-back wins after he beat Nasuruddin Imamov on points in January after two consecutive defeats last year.

Meanwhile, German-Russian Magomedov, also 32, arrived in Las Vegas after a string of three straight wins, all by stoppages.

Ranked seventh in the middleweight rankings as he looks to re-enter title contention, Strickland risks his top-10 status here as he faces an unranked opponent in Magomedov.

Here’s everything you need to know.

    when is it?

The event will take place on Saturday, July 1, at the UFC Apex Institute in Las Vegas.

The preliminaries are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. BST (1 p.m. PT, 3 p.m. ET, 4 p.m. ET). The follow-up main card is set for 12pm BST on Sunday, July 2 (4pm PT, 6pm ET, 7pm ET Saturday).

    How can I watch?

The card will be broadcast live on BT Sport in the UK, with the broadcaster’s app and website also broadcasting the fights.

In the US, ESPN+ will broadcast the event live, as will the fight card from the UFC.
