    Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI Visualize characters and the world in a painting style. see below.

    In addition, the company announced during the pre-release celebration livestream of the Final Fantasy XVI In Japan, digital billboards will be shown in Shibuya, Osaka, and Fukuoka from June 19, as well as a special 3D billboard advertisement for Cross Shinjuku Vision starting the same day.

    Finally, the company announced that despite working hard not to require an update at launch, a small patch of roughly 300MB in size will be available starting June 20th. It will have the following fixes and improvements:

    • Fixes a control flag issue that could make progress impossible under very specific circumstances.
    • Fixes an issue where the game crashes unexpectedly under very specific circumstances.
    • Improves performance in multiple places.
    • Fixes some minor text issues.

    Producer Naoki Yoshida mentioned it as well Final Fantasy XVI It was initially planned to be released on two discs. But about six months before release, the development team thought they’d be able to fit everything onto one disc, so to avoid running up production costs and perfecting premature shipping on two discs, they somehow managed to barely fit everything on one disc.

    Final Fantasy XVI It will be released for PS5 on June 22nd.
