Eating is really fun, and there are foods that are good enough that we’ll want to save a little for later, just to enjoy the tasting experience of a good dish for a while longer.

However, it’s good to be aware that not all foods can be stored and reheated in the same way. Exposing all foods to the same reheating processes can be a mistake.

This is because if we heat some foods incorrectly, they may cause poisoning or some risks to your health, and the most common way to heat them is to put them in the microwave.

With that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of popular foods in homes around the world that shouldn’t be reheated anyway. Check out these tips for eating these reheated dishes without any worries!

Foods that should be kept out of the microwave

    1. Mushrooms

These very common foods need to be heated to at least 70 degrees Celsius so that there is no problem, because they contain proteins that can be easily broken down with the help of bacteria and enzymes.

Therefore, keep them away from a microwave that does not heat evenly or at the ideal temperature.

    2. Pizza

It is truly one of the most popular dishes in the kitchen, as well as loved by many. Most of the time, however, it is exposed to bacteria from the air itself, like in bins and somewhere in the kitchen.

Properly heated is ideal for consumption, but it is preferable to use a frying pan or oven for heating most appropriate for this food.

    3. Food buffet

The dishes they prepare in the restaurants they serve buffet usually exposed for a long time. This way, bacteria in the environment can act quickly, causing the food to spoil.

We also don’t know if refrigeration is done properly in these restaurants, so it’s better to prepare a fresh dish than to reheat it in the microwave.

    4 eggs

As many know, eggs can contain, regardless of whether they are cracked or not salmonella, bacteria that can cause many risks to human health. Therefore, it must be thoroughly cooked and heated to at least 70°C for these bacteria to die.

    5. Potatoes

Incredible as it may sound, this tuber also requires care in repotting. If reheated too many times, it can produce the bacteria responsible for causing food poisoning.

You better store it quickly, and if you’re going to reheat it, you do it right, as if you were making it again. This is not possible in the microwave.
