We know that every woman wants her wedding to be perfect. the setting, the decoration, the food, and the people present; Everything should be exactly as you planned it.

However, one bride upset the entire family by sending an exclusive wedding invitation to some relatives and others found something very offensive. This is because the bride does not invite her poor relatives to her wedding.

The bride excludes poorer relatives from her wedding

The bride and groom in question are getting married in the Dominican Republic, evidently fully aware that due to the cost, many people may end up unable to attend the wedding. However, despite the uncertainty of who could attend and who could not, the couple was determined to have the wedding they wanted.

The bride explained that the invitations sent to the guests were expensive invitations. It was for this reason that she and her fiancé chose to send only the absolutely necessary, limiting them to people who they assumed could afford the expensive trip to the Dominican Republic.

The couple’s decision, as expected, causes confusion in the family and friends who call out to the bride, understanding the situation. Even the mother of the bride expressed her deep disappointment that her daughter would make such assumptions.

The bride told her forum readers the following: “My mom says I was rude judging people by their income.” But she also made it clear that her intention was not to judge, but to choose people who she thought had the money to pay to participate in the wedding.

The bride does not understand why everyone is upset

Users of Reddit, the network where the girl posted her account of her unhappiness with the decision she made, seem to be siding with the bride’s disgruntled relatives. One of the top comments has been liked nearly 19,000 times, and reads: “Around the time my best friend (ex) got married, he obviously decided to have a wedding in Nepal, because his future wife was Nepali.”

He continued, “I had known him for about 30 years, so we assumed I would be the best man whenever the day came. I found out that not only was I not the best man, but I was also not invited to the wedding because I too was seen as ‘poor’.”

Wedding invitations are really a touchy subject. People want people to remember them and feel offended if they don’t. On the other hand, when receiving invitations, the future bride and groom may be upset to learn that a guest cannot attend.
