    Upcoming WhatsApp changes

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg took advantage of the Meta channel to talk about the next changes that are coming to WhatsApp. Since this is one of the most used applications in the world, any change, even the smallest, matters to users.

It is known that the main purpose of Meta is to make the application increasingly secure and private for users. Therefore, the company takes several measures to achieve this. And also to make the application more intuitive and user-friendly.

One of these changes concerns the relationship between users. Currently, in order to find out which groups are shared with the user, it is necessary to go to the person’s profile. That is, open the conversation with her. But with the new update, you will only have to type the username in the search, and the results will display the shared groups.

That is, all these changes will gradually reach users, as is the case with any change in WhatsApp. Therefore, it may take hours, days or weeks for you to gain access.

    WhatsApp veto?

Now, we are going to talk about the most awaited change: the WhatsApp veto, as it is popularly called. Currently, after you create a link to share a group, anyone with access to it can join. That is, just share the link and hundreds of people will be able to join the same group, without even knowing it.

This is a huge privacy issue for users, because if a group has confidential information and an entry link is shared, anyone can access the information.

However, with the new update, WhatsApp will allow the group admin to control who joins the conversation. Even if the user shares the link with unknown people, the administrator will receive the incoming requests and thus be able to dispute who they prefer. In this way, the content of the group will be private, and members can be sure that only people approved by management will exist.

But, as mentioned above, Meta will release this update gradually to users. So, be aware of your app store and your app to check if you already have access.
