    “My valuable one”, one of the most iconic lines from the Lord of the Rings movies that promises to dictate the story of Gollum. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has a new trailer that introduces more of the plot, as well as featuring iconic characters like the wizard Gandalf and the Mouth of Sauron, the Dark Lord’s envoy.

    Nacon guarantees that the title will “feature a story like never before,” but that players will experience familiar Middle-earth scenarios. Furthermore, as the trailer itself acknowledges, heroes and villains from the original saga will play important roles in the narrative.

    Gollum has no release date

    While Gollum is set to arrive in 2023, Nacon hasn’t specified a release date. On Steam, it’s possible to wishlist it, and the studio has previously stated that it intends to make the title available between July and September.

    Set in the Third Age of Middle-earth, the game accompanies Gollum on his journey as a slave in the tower of Barad-dr, in Mordor. Its mechanics will have stealth as the core and will rely on survival and exploration to get through the events canon From the JRR Tolkien franchise.

    The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
