Applications should always undergo changes to remain attractive to their users. This happens a lot on social media and it’s no different with WhatsApp. Soon, the messaging app may launch a feature that many people have been wanting and have been asking for for a long time. The tool promises to change the way you chat on WhatsApp.

The novelty was announced some time ago, but there was no date for its release. However, this week WhatsApp has already started releasing this tool that its users want. It is definitely a feature that will give more freedom to those who use the app and satisfy the general public. Let’s get to know the big launch of the application?

What is the new WhatsApp tool?

This week, the world’s largest chat app started to launch a very important feature for its users. The new WhatsApp tool promises to block screenshot (screenshot or print, as you prefer) of the platform. Mark Zuckerberg announced in August, that the new is now available for so-called “app testers”, and very soon, it should be made available to all WhatsApp users.

According to Tecmundo, a WhatsApp screenshot blocker has been released in the new update for some members of the Google Play Beta program. The purpose of the new feature is to provide more privacy to the user. Especially for those who don’t want their single view photos – those that appear after they’ve been opened and are automatically deleted afterwards – to be turned on.

    Promise more security

If you try to take a screenshot in such cases, the captured screen will be a completely black image. According to WhatsApp, the tool will allow blocking of screenshot attempts even if the person uses extensions that seek to circumvent the security of the app. However, if you do not want to rely on this feature, disable it. The new role will be entirely optional.

It is worth noting that this new blocker will block only screenshots of chats and images without the single view functionality. The WhatsApp tool is exclusive to this method. This new functionality is already available in the Android beta app, in version 2.22.22.3 of the platform. For the general public, as of now, the company has not yet announced when the new feature will be launched.

    Other wishes of WhatsApp users

This new WhatsApp tool has been one of the most requested features by users. But they want more improvements to the app. And one of them, without a doubt, is the introduction of a method to search for popular posters. After all, most people like to use stickers for chatting and emoticons already have their emoticons. So why not do the same with stickers. Although it is not official, there are already rumors that this could be the latest WhatsApp news announced soon. Let’s wait.
