Extinction Rebellion spokeswoman Nuala Lam told British media BBC News That about 50 people took part in the work in and around the two Houses of Parliament.
In a video released by the group, protesters called for a “democratic system” that would allow “ordinary people to be consulted” on the issue of climate change.
