At the start of the UFC London Preliminary Card, which marks the organization’s first event in the English capital since the outbreak, local fans had reason to celebrate. With three UK delegates in the opening matches of the event, the spectators were thrilled with the victories of Mohamed Mohawk and Jack Shore. The loss of Strawight (52kg) Corey McKenna was negative.

In the first fight on the card, newcomer Mohamed Moghev – who stood alone with several titles in the amateur MMA – met expectations and took less than a minute to defeat American Cody Durton. Born in Dagestan, Russia, Flyweight (57kg), who represents the British flag and competes for the title, remains undefeated in his career after seven professional battles and reaffirms his position as one of the best promises for the future of the division.

However, in the second match of the event, the local crowd was unable to celebrate again. In a tie fight until the end of the third round, 22-year-old British Corey McKenna was defeated by American Ellis Reid at the end of the judges’ split. With that, ‘The Hobbit’ faces its second loss of its life, its first defeat to the UFC in eight fights.

However, in that line, the public at the ‘O2 Arena’ in London laughed again. The Welshman Jack Shore showed a lot of technique and, with an excellent presentation, was able to defeat the tough Russian fighter Timur Valiyev by points. Now, the 27-year-old athlete has 16 wins and no loss in his professional application and is highly regarded for the future of the UFC Phantomweight Division (61kg).
