LONDON, United Kingdom – Prince Harry has been accused by British newspapers on Saturday of “neglecting the Queen” for paying tribute to her husband Philip II, who died in April 2021.

A spokesman for Prince Harry announced Friday that the Queen’s grandson will not attend a religious ceremony in memory of Prince Philip later this month, and no details have been released.

Although the representative said that Harry would meet the Queen “soon”.

The British newspaper “The Sun” in its Saturday edition made headlines with the phrase “Harry to Philip rude”. In the pages of the newspaper, Angela Levine, who wrote the book about Harry, says that in his absence, the prince is “not only rude to the Duke of Edinburgh (the late Philip), but above all, the queen.”

Harry and his wife, Megan, decided to move away from the British royal family and live in California (USA) in 2019.

The ceremony will be held on March 29 in memory of Prince Philip, who died in April 2021 at the age of 99.

Although the presence of Queen Elizabeth II is expected, her debilitating health (which has worsened in recent months after being infected with the Govt-19) raises suspicions.

In the middle of the Silver Jubilee (70 years of rule in February), appearances of the British monarch are increasingly rare.

After spending the night in the hospital for a “preliminary examination” in October (no details have been released), doctors recommended that Elizabeth II do light work at Castle Windsor.

The Queen, who will turn 96 in April, will not attend a religious event in Westminster Abbey (London) on Monday, Buckingham Palace said on Friday.
