The UK Services Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) fell to 53.6 in December from 58.5 in December, the lowest level since February last year, according to the latest data released by IHS Markit in association with CIPS on Thursday. The result, however, was higher than the preliminary reading of December 53.2, and was forecast by consultants. The Wall Street Journal, 52.9.
