TheIntensive care physicians at the Royal Liverpool Hospital in the UK have made a desperate plea for people to be vaccinated as 80% of unvaccinated patients are in intensive care for life.
The video, shared by the Liverpool Assembly, shows the current struggle of health professionals in the intensive care unit, who are tired and fear the new variant will further boost the British health service.
Intensive care director Peter Hampshire said, “It’s shocking to see healthy young people in their 30s and 40s.
Another professional, Crazy Philip, moved on in the video when he told patients in front of the team how their health was deteriorating. “I have been a nurse for 25 years and I have never seen anything like this in my life,” she says.
“I have seen patients coming in. They are in good condition, healthy, around 30, 40, 50 years old, and they are getting worse and dying. If they had been vaccinated, I firmly believe they would not have been like this,” he assured.

Keep in mind that for the first time this Wednesday the number of daily cases exceeded 100,000. There are 106,122 new infections, the highest daily number ever recorded in the country.
In the UK, 8,000 people are currently hospitalized and 849 are in critical condition.
