    The Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah this weekend will be special for Team Williams, which pays homage to founder Frank Williams, who passed away this week at the age of 79. But the team will not be complete in the ring with Covid-19 confirmation from Jost Capito, chief executive and team leader.

    Capito has tested positive for Ccovid-19 before riding his first Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia this weekend and will be in isolation in England. The other team members are unaffected and will usually be in the ring.

    Capito took over as Williams in February, after a change of owners, now under Dorilton Capital, and not guaranteed until the final stage of the season, on the twelfth, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

    The FIA ​​revealed, which completed: “The FIA ​​and Formula 1 can confirm that Williams Racing CEO and Team Leader Just Capito has tested positive for COVID-19 before traveling to Jeddah for the Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia this weekend.”

    “Jost is following UK NHS guidelines. There has been no significant impact on Williams Racing staff and the team will continue to run the track as planned.”
