The European Commission revealed on Friday that the UK NHS Covit Pass is now considered the equivalent of the EU COVID-19 Digital Certification (EUDCC). The decision to recognize the NHS Pass, which comes into force today, was taken by the EU Commission after the UK complied with all the conditions. As a result, Britons can travel to many third countries already linked to the portal with the same criteria as EU and EU pass holders.

More precisely, UK travelers can now travel to all EUDCC countries without restrictions, they can be fully vaccinated, recover from the disease or they can prove a negative test result, SchengenVisaInfo.com reported.

“Good news for travelers to the UK and Armenia! Today, we accept two new decisions certifying that the COVID-19 certificates issued by these two countries are equivalent to the EU’s COVID digital certificate, ”the EU wrote on its official Twitter account.

However, UK travelers must meet the vaccination requirements of the target country by verifying that they have been vaccinated from the country in which they plan to travel. This can be done using a vaccine verification tool developed by VisaGuide.World, which allows travelers around the world to verify the validity of their vaccines.

Also, in line with recent changes, fully vaccinated Britons will be allowed to travel to various indoor and outdoor locations, including bars, restaurants, museums, theaters, shopping centers and other events, when traveling to Europe. Or take a screening test.
