    A work done in partnership between OSGEMEOS artists and British artist Banksy, in 2013, is part of the exhibition “OSGEMEOS: Secrets”, exhibited at Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) until April 3, 2022. This is the first Banksy work to be shown in Brazil.

    The exhibition in Curitiba is an original production by São Paulo Pinacoteca, in partnership with MON, presented by Coble and made available by the Government of Paraná.

    The artists explain that this work was born organically in the studio. First, the work was shown under the High Line, on West 24th Street, in New York (USA), and soon appeared on the cover of the magazine. village sound. The exhibition “OSGEMEOS: Segredos” presents for the first time the work of the British artist in Brazil.

    In addition to work done in partnership with Banksy, more than 850 items are presented in the gallery, including paintings, immersive and acoustic installations, sculptures, site-specific interventions, drawings, and artist notebooks. The gallery occupies all exhibition spaces in the tower and Ein Moon.

    OSGEMEOS The artist duo formed by brothers Gustavo and Otavio Pandolfo (São Paulo, 1974) built a path in the art world without losing sight of the desire to remain accessible to the general public.

    This path includes participation in exhibitions at major international institutions, such as the Hamburger Bahnhof, in Berlin, in 2019, with a project designed in partnership with the Breakdance Group in Berlin Flying Steps – one of the most awarded worldwide; Vancouver Biennale in Canada (2014); Mocha – Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, USA (2011); the MOT – Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo, Japan (2008); Tate Modern, in London, UK (2008), where the artists painted the facade, and Milan Triennale (2006), Italy, among others.

    Throughout their careers, the brothers have also received invitations to create major public spaces in more than 60 countries, including Sweden, Germany, Portugal, Australia, Cuba and the United States – with a focus on electronic screens in Times Square, in Nova York (2015) – among others.

The institution houses important references in national and international artistic production in the fields of visual arts, architecture and design, as well as the most important Asian collection in Latin America.

    In total, the collection includes more than 9,000 objects, located in more than 35,000 square meters of built-up area, with 17,000 square meters of exhibition space, making Mon the largest art museum in Latin America.
