This Saturday morning (28/8), a Formula 1 He announced changes to the 2021 calendar for the competition, one of which was a reduction in the number of runners, from 22 to 23, and the other was the dates of the races to be held in Sao Paulo, Mexico and Turkey.
The reason for the changes was the restrictions imposed by the United Kingdom on Brazil, Mexico and Turkey, due to the pandemic COVID-19. Under British government rules, anyone who has passed through these countries is required to serve a 10-day quarantine at a hotel designated by them.
With the changes, the new dates for GPs in these countries will be:
– Turkey | October 10, 2021 (previously scheduled for October 3);
– Mexico | November 7, 2021 (previously scheduled for October 31);
– São Paulo | November 14, 2021 (previously scheduled for November 7);
Histories for other general practitioners remain the same and the Istanbul stage, in Turkey, has not been confirmed, as its realization depends on the United Kingdom removing restrictions on the country.
The Grand Prix, which is scheduled for November 21, has yet to be decided. A strong filter is Qatar, but F1 Bahrain is not excluded as an option.
