The city of São Paulo is dressed in pink with the release of the Barbie movie. The excitement of fans of the Mattel doll has caused stores, restaurants and malls to create special environments and products around the character from the movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. So, if you are in Sao Paulo and want to enjoy this climate, here are some tips for places to visit!

    Barbie Dreamhouse – Experiment

Installed in Shopping JK Iguatemi, in Vila Olímpia, south of São Paulo, the DreamHouse is the “official” address for puppets in the city. The house brings an interactive and immersive experience, full of scenarios for filming. There are 650 square meters with several rooms in the doll house. On site, visitors can still watch the trailer for “Barbie” and browse on the catwalk.

The installation is on the third floor of the mall and will continue until August 20. Tickets cost between R$20 and R$70.

    Burger King

Burger King is one such restaurant that decided to dive into the pink wave. The unit on Avenida Juscelino Kubitschek, in Vila Nova Conceição, has been completely transformed into a small “Barbieland”. The brand has posted a video on its social networks showing the transformation of the place.

In addition to the Instagram scene, you can also take the opportunity to try the BK Barbie set, which comes with a hamburger with pink smokey sauce, a Nesquik strawberry milkshake and a donut, as well as a special packaging.

    Sao Paulo Metro

It doesn’t stop there! Commuters of the capital’s subway 4-Yellow line were surprised this week with a special decoration to promote the movie. Some of the carriages on the line are completely encased, making their passengers feel like they’re inside Barbie’s world.

    Riachuelo Store

The clothing store, in addition to releasing sets that included props and a bed, table, and bath linens for the character, decorated its unit on Avenida Paulista with an atmospheric appeal to the audience. In addition to the thematic display, the venue has a pavilion with only doll products, a pink car and a box so that visitors can take pictures and feel like Barbie.

    GoCoffee

The coffee chain also got into “Barbiemania” and launched a pink Frappe with sparkles and a tutti-frutti flavor. It is available in all units. In addition, the storefronts of some of the chain’s stores were decorated with boxes of photo dolls.

The shopping city of Sao Paulo

And if you walk along Avenida Paulista, you’ll also be able to admire the space set up at the entrance to Shopping Cidade São Paulo to promote a movie starring Margot Robbie. There, you can take pictures in a replica of the car that the doll used in the movie.
