Volkswagen do Brasil announced, on Thursday (first) evening, at an event held in São Paulo, an investment R$16 billion in its four plants in Brazil by 2028.

The amount provides for investment in manufacturing 16 new vehicles, including hybrid, 100% electric and “fully flexible” models. Moreover, according to Volkswagen, the investment will also be for “innovative projects” and “focused on decarbonisation”.
