Two things make the University of Surrey stand out – its global community of over 16,000 students and its graduate employment rate, one of the best in the country. In fact, it won the title of Best University Careers and Placement Service 2022 at the National Undergraduate Placement Awards.
Located in Guildford, just 35 minutes by train from central London, Surrey is made up of three faculties: Arts and Social Sciences; Engineering and Physical Sciences; and medicine and health sciences. In all, there are many course options, from international preparation courses to postgraduate research degrees.
£5,000 University of Surrey Undergraduate Waiver
One of the University of Surrey’s scholarships dedicated to international students is the International Excellence Award, a £5,000 tuition fee waiver. Open to self-funded students of any nationality, it selects scholarship recipients based on previous academic performance and a personal statement submitted during the UCAS examination.
All interested parties should apply for the scholarship on the official University of Surrey website by April 30, 2024. To compete, you need:

Being an international student;

have been admitted to a full degree course at the University of Surrey which is considered Level 4 (FHEQ) according to the British Classification;

Be self-sufficient.
You must already have an offer of admission to a university to complete the International Excellence Award application form. Therefore, you must first go through the selection process and fulfill the specific requirements of the chosen degree. Surrey will not accept applications without a valid UCAS ID number

A partnership between the University of Surrey and Brazil
According to Surrey’s official website, 20 Brazilian students are currently enrolled at the university, and the institution maintains a partnership with the University of São Paulo (USP) for research collaboration in a variety of fields, from translation to aerospace engineering and international business.
The University of Surrey accepts a Secondary School Leaving Certificate or High School Leaving Certificate for admission to the Foundation Year Preparatory Programme, which is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree.
