The “urban” fox from London hides leftovers even on the hood of a car; Watch the video

The Globo Reporter showed on Friday (the 25th). How red foxes that roam the streets Londonin the UK. The world’s “most civilized” dog is a global trademark of the European city, and it shows its intelligence Including for food storage. They have been seen taking leftovers from their meals into strategic hiding places, – Even on car hoodsif necessary. (see video above)

But the life of a red fox in the capital is not easy. With little choice compared to the animals living in the jungle, red foxes are left to scavenge for food in London’s waste bins. But they will eat leftovers from human food without a problem, even if it has expired.

🦊 10,000 foxes live in the city

Although the survival of red foxes in an urban environment is relatively complex, they are always adapting. What’s more, they need to fight for space. They try to demarcate territory the traditional way, urinating on the spot, but the most common thing is fighting each other for spaces in showdowns that determine who is stronger in that piece.

And in the case of urban foxes, only fighting determines this: there are more than 10,000 animals of this species living in the British capital. With so many animals sharing the same environment, almost none of them will be able to hold the position of territory leader for long.
