The nominees for the 2024 Academy Awards were announced on Tuesday (23). Despite some very well-deserved nominations – including those of America Ferrera and Ryan Gosling for “Best Actress/Supporting Actor” – the other “snub” gave something worth talking about. Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig, star and director of “Barbie,” respectively, were not nominated in the major categories.
Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken Doll in the film, spoke out in a statement obtained by The Wrap. The star commented that he was honored to be nominated. “I am extremely honored to be nominated by my peers alongside these outstanding artists in a year filled with so many amazing filmsGosling said.
