    Rex tops the Orange County and Ghost UK album charts with eight to 10 entries

    Rex tops the Orange County and Ghost UK album charts with eight to 10 entries

    In a bitter controversy with the Swedish Coast, singer-songwriter Rex Orange County, the stage name of Englishman Alexander James O’Connor, topped the British rankings with at least eight debutants in the top 10.

    The metal band took second place, their best position in their entire lives. Brian Adams’ most recent releases, The Shire, Lil Durk, Ella Henderson, The Mysteries and Franz Ferdinand’s biggest hits (“Hits to the Head”) were ranked third, fifth, sixth, eighth, ninth and seventh respectively. Thomas Hayden’s “Victoria”, ranked 23rd, closed the list of innovations in the rankings.

    1 – “Who cares?” – Rex Orange County (Introduction)
    2 – “Impera” – Ghost (Introduction)
    3 – “So Happy It Hurts” – Brian Adams (Introduction)
    4 – “=” – Ed Sheeran (one level dropped)
    5 – “10 Year Plan” – The Shire (Introduction)
    6 – “7220” – Lil Durk (Introduction)
    7 – “Hits to the Head” – Franz Ferdinand (Introduction)
    8 – “Everything I Didn’t Say” – Ella Henderson (Introduction)
    9 – “Reeling” – The Mysteries (Introduction)
    10 – “23” – Central Sea (six levels dropped)

    There were some news in the singles rankings, but on a smaller scale. Dave topped the second week with “Starlight”. Introduced in Ichin’s “Baby (Feed. Ashanti)” No. 2. “Boyfriend” by Dow Cameron and “Go” by Kate Burns climbed five and nine places, respectively, to finish ninth and tenth.

    Megan The Stallion’s second premiere of the week was # 31 on “Sweetest Pie (with Dua Liba)” (pictured above) and from LIILZ’s “Glad u Came (Feat. ZieZie)” # 65 to # 35. Climbed to 1st place.

    10 – “Go” – Cat burns (nine places above)
