    On 3 and 4 October, GSI/PR participated in the III Brazil – United Kingdom Digital Dialogue organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) and the United Kingdom Embassy in Brasilia.

    On the Brazilian side, the event was attended by representatives from the MRE, GSI/PR, the Social Communication Secretariat of the President, the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, the Ministry of Communications, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Ministry of Justice and Public Safety, Ministry of Communications, Anatel and ANPD and, on the British side, the UK Embassy and Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT).

    During the dialogue, opportunities for cooperation between countries were discussed in the areas of digital inclusion and meaningful connectivity, global digital governance, artificial intelligence, information integrity and online security, data for development, data security and standards, security and resilience in telecommunications.

    GSI/PR was represented by personnel from its Information Security and Cybernetics Secretariat.

    In a session on Information Integrity and Online Security, Mr. Victor Hugo spoke about the framework of GSI/PR and the initiatives undertaken and ongoing with the British side to create awareness among citizens, such as the Digital Citizenship campaign. Defense digital, second application Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model for Countries (CMM) in Brazil is training cybersecurity teams from federal public administration organizations in open source intelligence (OSINT) to assess the country’s maturity in cybersecurity.
