Dear friends,
In September, our dear Tati faced an unexpected challenge when she suffered a stroke that damaged her right side and her ability to speak. Despite the difficulties, Tati is recovering and will be released from the hospital soon. Living in the coastal area of Saco do Mamangua, the family had to rent a house in Paraty for her rehabilitation (due to its proximity to the hospital and her need for some tests and medical appointments).
Now, we face a crucial new phase. In the first two months after discharge from the hospital, Tatiana will need intensive care, including monitoring by a specialized caregiver, a speech therapist, and a physical therapist, among other expenses such as rent, medications, etc. To meet these challenges and ensure the best support for Tatiana, we are counting on the generosity of all of you.
We created this Vakinha to unite efforts for Tatiana’s health and well-being. Every contribution will be a gesture of love and hope in this journey of recovery. Together, we can make a difference in her life and help her family cover basic costs. We sincerely thank you for joining us on this issue.
