Eiza Sangalli shines and Unimede Campina wins a preliminary match

The last of the clubs to debut in the 2023 LBF Championship, Basketball Ituano and Unimed Campinas Duel Saturday night, 11, in Ito (SP), the visiting team won. Winning by 63 to 56, with a great performance from before Isa Senjali.

The winger notched a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds which, along with 5 assists, 6 steals and 22 steals, he credited back. booty Gol Linhas Arias for the best player of the match. Upon his debut on the team, point guard Kaká added 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Ituano scored the highest score in the match – returning for the first time in the red and black jersey, winger Palmeira scored 21 points, with 4 balls from three. Captain Joyce added 12 assists. New players Bianca and Larissa scored 8 points each.

Antonio Carlos Barbosa Ituano started with Joyce, Larissa, Palmira, Karina Jacob, and Bianca. Sydney Cobini brought in Unimed Campinas along with Beatriz, Cacá, Schmauch, Sangalli and Lorena.

A balanced start to the match in the first half, which had the least advantage for the Rooster in the first ten minutes (16 x 15). The Rooster maintained the lead for most of the second quarter, with three balls from outside Palmera, until Sangalli and Beatriz turned to Unimed, who took the lead in the first half (31 x 34).

Campinas’ defense was the highlight of the third period, taking the lead for the visitors. In the last quarter, Aninha and Isinha gave gas to the rooster, who tried to stay close to the scoreboard, but eight points from Sangalli in the last minutes declared the victory for the current vice-champion of Brazil.
