On Friday (28), the United States Space Agency (NASA) released a wonderful new photo of the very violent and active “center” of our galaxy.

The image is a composition of 370 notes made over the past two decades by Telescópio Chandra orbital x-ray, Billions of stars and countless black holes appear in the “center” or core of the Milky Way. By contrast, a radio telescope in South Africa contributed to the creation of the image.

Discover the lines of heated gas and magnetic fields that make up the energy fabric of our galaxy, the Milky Way. A new image from the Chandra X-Ray Telescope brings to life a giant mosaic of data intertwined with this cosmic masterpiece.

The person in charge of the image, astronomer Daniel Wang of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, told the Associated Press today (28) that he had spent a year working on the image, while remaining isolated at home due to the epidemic.

“What we see in the picture is a dynamic and violent ecosystem In the middle of our galaxyWang said, Mentioned above By AP. “There is a lot Supernova remnantAnd black holes and neutron stars there. He added that every point or mark on the rays represents a source of energy, mostly in the center. “

This confused and extremely dynamic galactic center lies about 26,000 light-years from Earth.

Wang’s work will be published in the June issue of the Scientific Journal of the Royal Astronomical Society.

Wires of extremely hot gases and magnetic fields weave a tapestry of energy in this new panoramic view of the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way. With a diameter of about 1,000 light years and a length of 2,000 light years, this image teaches us more about our climate in galactic space that is driven by volatile phenomena such as supernova explosions and material eruptions from regions close to Sagittarius A *, the supermassive black hole of our galaxy.
