    Colombian singer Shakira performed a musical performance today, Sunday (14), during the break between the decision and the outcome of the match. Copa AmericaBetween Colombia and Argentina, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The artist won $1 million for her performance that lasted only seven minutes.

    Shakira received $2 million from the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) for the show. The amount is equivalent to 10.9 million Brazilian reals. The amount was revealed by Argentine journalist Juan Etchegoen.

    Despite the singer's support for the Colombian team, the Argentine team emerged victorious. Albiceleste won the final 1-0.With a goal from Lautaro Martinez, he became a two-time Copa America champion. With this defeat, Colombia remains the only holder of one title in the history of the tournament.

    This was not Shakira's first performance at a sporting event. The Colombian artist, for example, participated in the World Cup finals in Germany in 2006, and in South Africa in 2010, when she released her hit song Waka Waka. The singer was also present at the World Cup finals in Brazil in 2014.

    In addition to her World Cup performance, the artist performed at the Superbowl halftime show in 2020, alongside Jennifer Lopez.
