Tati Machado and Diego Maia are the big winners of “Dança dos Famosos 2024”. The results of the competition were announced on Sunday evening (8), after the finalists performed dances to the rhythm of tango and samba.

Amaury Lorenzo and Camila Lobo took second place in the competition, followed by the duo Lucy Alves and Fernando Perotti.

“I have always dreamed of being on this stage, I have always dreamed of being on this show. I have been working behind the scenes on this show for years and I have always dreamed of being able to dance to all the beats,” said Tati. The presenter also noted that the achievement came exactly one year after a video of her dancing to the song “Ta Ok” by Dennis DJ and Kevin O’Kris went viral.

“Exactly one year ago, the little dance that opened doors for me, brought me here today. It’s the little dance that changed my life, and changed my family’s life,” Tati celebrated.

Presenters Ana Maria Braga and Eliana were part of the show's artistic jury. Ana Maria was moved when she saw Tati dancing the tango.

“The dedication is so beautiful. I have been following this girl since the first day of dancing. I know everyone here has the same dedication. Everyone put in the effort. She did it so beautifully. As you say [Antonio] Banderas, you have to tell a story. “You told me the beginning, the middle and the end,” Anna said, not holding back her tears.
