According to the portal NewwinThe complaints come from users on Reddit and Microsoft's own forums where they reported that it is not possible to uninstall Microsoft Edge in European countries, which is mandatory under the European Commission's Digital Markets Act.
Another user says he can't install the update on his computer:
I keep getting “Installation Error – 0x800705b9” no matter how many times I try again. I've tried installing the update manually through the Microsoft Catalog and I've tried doing a repair install using a Windows 11 .iso file and both are giving me “Windows Installation Failed” error messages.
An HP Dragonfly G1 notebook user claims that he is facing several issues after installing update KB5036893. According to him, the computer is very slow due to excessive CPU usage by the 'lsass.exe' process, which also creates many excessive memory writes.
Additionally, Reddit user Flo-TPG says that it is no longer possible to use VPNs with TPM and Outlook 365 supported certificates, as both show errors when turned on.
Many users also mention the error 0x8007000d that is displayed when trying to install updates through Windows Update with the following message:
Some update files are missing or have problems. We will try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d).
Unfortunately these are not isolated cases, as I encountered them when trying to install the latest Windows 11 updates, with error 0x8007000d appearing 4 times while installing two system updates, causing the process to restart from scratch.
Microsoft has not yet commented on the issues, but we hope they will release a fix as soon as possible.
