Yes, as you can hear, backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 or even older hardware should soon be in the news again. However, it's not so crazy to think about when we know that the Call of Duty saga is coming to Xbox Game Pass very soon, something many of us hope will be a real boost for the service and for Microsoft. Diablo IV was the first title in Activision Blizzard's history to be included in Game Pass, but it certainly won't be the last.

Microsoft understands this situation and Sarah Bond has put together a team specifically for this purpose and for backward compatibility.
It looks like we'll have more news on this topic at the Xbox Games Show in June 2024, at least that's something some insiders claim is a possibility. We know that everyone Call of Duty games are backward compatible.
