The Turkish Sultan is one of only 10 confirmed cases in history of someone taller than 8 feet. Jyoti, who was born in India, is shorter than the average height of a two-year-old. The two won their title in 2011 in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Young Jyoti suffers from achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism that has caused her to stop growing at her current height. Sultan's size is due to a tumor that led to him developing a medical condition called pituitary gigantism. According to him, unbridled growth occurs after the age of ten.

The duo met in 2018 after an invitation from the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and Tourism to visit several historical sites in the African country. In Egypt, they visited Postcards before attending a conference at the Fairmont Nile City Hotel in Cairo.
