    As economic instability increased, many Brazilians accumulated debt and joined the lists of defaulters. With this in mind, the federal government has developed a program that facilitates the renegotiation of these debts. The project, called Desenrola Brasil, allows citizens to pay off their debts with deep discounts to avoid negative credit.

    In the first phase of the program, people who had accumulated debts of up to R$100.00 by the end of 2022 had the possibility to renegotiate their debts, removing their names from credit protection services.

    Desenrola Brasil and negotiations with banks

    Moving into the second phase of Desenrola Brasil, a direct dialogue was conducted with banks to enable attractive discounts. This stage aims to make it easier for individuals to repay debts.

    The third phase of the program is still in effect. It allows debt negotiation with companies from various sectors, from small businesses to large providers of essential services, such as water and gas companies.

    For those who want to participate in the Desenrola Brasil debt negotiation program, they need to follow some steps:

    1. Enter the official website of Desenrola Brasil;
    2. Check the offers available for renegotiation.
    3. Analyze the repayment terms, which include discounts that may reach 99% on the total debt amount.

    At the same time, access to the program has been expanded. Previously, only users with gold and silver accounts were allowed to access the Gov.BR platform. However, this restriction has been removed and access is now allowed to users with the Bronze protection level, which is automatically granted when creating an account on the Gov.BR platform.

    This measure aims to increase the number of people benefiting from the program and provide more opportunities for Brazilian citizens to settle their debts more easily. It is estimated that Desenrola Brasil will allow debt renegotiations until March.
