Last Friday brought us the unexpected arrival of the Redfall 2.0 update, which included the long-awaited 60fps performance mode as well as several other improvements to gameplay, UI, and more.
It’s still early days for this new update, but overall feedback has been positive so far. We saw many Xbox fans taking to social media over the weekend to share how much they liked the changes:

Redfall improved after the patch by 1000%, in my opinion that was mainly in terms of enemies, graphics and bugs. If the game had actually been released with these mods it would have been a very good game! It’s great to see Improved reception for Redfall after its new patchBut the question remains whether this will lead to a greater number of players. So far, this doesn’t appear to be the case on Steam. However, it is definitely a start!
People in the Redfall community on Reddit are hoping Arkane and Bethesda are as well Ready to make more improvements in the future, but it will definitely depend on the size of the community that this new update can create. Fingers crossed enough people will support the game in the days, weeks and months to come!
