    Samsung has been using Exynos chipsets in its processors over the years. For example, we have the Galaxy A50, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A54 itself that were launched this year as the flagship offering of the South Korean company in this segment.

    Despite this, many users reject Samsung chipsets and prefer Qualcomm solutions. Apparently, the South Korean knows this and doesn’t care, as the Galaxy A55 will be another intermediary with an Exynos chip, according to new information.

    The Galaxy A55 could be launched next year with an Exynos 1480 processor, according to information obtained by GalaxyClub. He found evidence that the cell phone is being tested using a processor codenamed S5E8845.

    It is worth noting that the Exynos 1280 is codenamed S5E8825, while the Exynos 1380 is identified by S5E8835. So, logically, the S5E8845 refers to the Exynos 1480, which will be internally called Rose.

    In terms of photography, the Galaxy A55 should have a 50MP main sensor, just like its predecessor. Details regarding the auxiliary sensors and front sensor have not been revealed.

    The phone will also likely inherit some of the Galaxy A54’s specifications, such as a Super AMOLED screen with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, a stereo speaker, IP67 certification for water and dust resistance, and Gorilla Glass protection on the screen and back panel.

    In the coming weeks, the device should go through certification sites and new information will emerge.
