    How to recover deleted WhatsApp messages

    I didn’t backup my WhatsApp, can I restore it anyway?

    First, the simplest way to recover any messages you’ve lost on WhatsApp is through a backup, whether it’s Android or iOS versions. However, this operation must be performed in advance, so never forget to activate the function.

    Normally, backups are made daily, during the night so as not to disturb users. To activate this function, you just need to do the following:

    • Go to Settings within your WhatsApp application;
    • Then press “Chat backup”;
    • The next step is to click on “Backup” to start this process;
    • Now, depending on your operating system, you have to choose to backup to Google Drive (Android) or iCloud (iPhone).

    Without backup, it is very difficult to restore conversations. Usually, this option is already available on mobile phones, and the backup is done automatically. However, you may have to allow the backup to take place, so it is best to never disable it, otherwise you will most likely not be able to restore or access lost conversations if you change your cell phone.

    • The next step is to click on the “Restore” button, so that the conversations in Drive can be accessed and restored;
    • This procedure may take some time, so wait for it to finish.

    Remember that if you want to restore the conversations on the same cell phone, just uninstall the WhatsApp application and install it again.

    iPhone message recovery

    Finally, if you want to do the same process on your iPhone, you will need to do the same thing as on Android, where you remove the app and install it again or start your account on another device. paying off:

    • open your messenger;
    • Put the phone number where you want to retrieve messages and do the whole process as shown;
    • After that, you should access the item “Restore conversation history”;
    • Likewise, this procedure requires a little patience.

    Remember it’s a simple process, but important so you don’t lose your conversations.
