    In an interview with Al-Bawaba VGCGeoff Kelly has tried to align fans’ expectations about Gamescom 2023. According to the presenter of the show’s opening night, which will be held in Germany on August 22, gamers can expect more updates, not announcements. And that means we’re likely to have great news on games that have already been revealed and a few more premieres.

    Much of the content shown during the conference will be more geared towards titles scheduled for the next 12 months. Here is an excerpt from the conversation posted on the site:

    It will be an exciting offering with a fresh look at several announced games such as Alan Wake 2 and Black Myth Wukong. This year’s opening night show is less about announcing new projects and more about giving fans updates on some of the biggest games coming out next year.
