Former footballer Denilson said on Friday afternoon (11) that he had entered into an agreement with Bello regarding the payment of the singer’s debt of R7 million. The court fight between the two has been going on for over 20 years.

“Singer Bello and I talked, and came to an agreement amicably. It is very important to assure everyone that our differences have never been personal, on the contrary, they were – and therefore are no longer – in the legal field. We, adults and professionals, it was important to put an end to this complex situation Which has kept us apart for over 20 years. Today, with joy, we close this matter. A big thank you to everyone involved. Now is the time to look forward,” Denilson said on the social network.

He added, “I’m excited about pagode and now I’m going to be able to post videos of myself listening to Belo.”

The debt arose in 1999, when Denilson bought the commercial rights to the Soweto group, but then, in 2000, Bello announced his departure from the band to pursue a solo career.

The former player took the case to court claiming breach of contract and publicly accused the singer’s debt several times.
