On Sunday, the Communist Party of Venezuela denounced a “new anti-democratic maneuver” to request the intervention of its political organization before the Supreme Court of Justice, blaming groups “in the service of the government” and the official. Unified Socialist Party (PSUV).

In a message it published, the party denounced that “a group of mercenaries in the service of the government of the Unified Socialist Party of Venezuela is preparing to demand – within the next few hours – the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) the illegal interference of the Venezuelan Communist Party.” on her Twitter account.

At the end of February, 45 communist organizations from all continents condemned what they considered a “plan to attack and interfere in the PCV” by the state, according to a statement from the Caribbean country’s political party.

According to the PCV, which has denounced this plan for years, the attacks occur in several ways, and their goal is the intervention of the National Council of the party, because it has distanced itself from the policy of dictator Nicolas Maduro at the head of the government. .

The leadership of the Communist Party of Venezuela has, on several occasions, denounced actions taken by the state against the party, such as the disqualification of its candidate for the re-election in the state of Barinas – Hugo Chávez’s home state – held on January 9. , 2022.

This week, the Chinese Communist Party claimed that the Maduro dictatorship uses this administrative exclusion as a “tool to neutralize and nullify” political actors in the Caribbean nation.

In recent years, Chavisa’s dictatorship, with the express aim of a clear path to a secure victory, has implemented the same strategy in every electoral process: excluding candidates, banning candidates, and interfering with different parties. This happened with the vast majority of opposition spaces: the first step is to remove the opponent who is better in the electoral race and, in his place, put a leader close to Chavismo, but who declares himself an opponent.

With presidential elections approaching next year, the Maduro dictatorship is already beginning its classic maneuvers. On June 30, the Comptroller General of Venezuela reported the exclusion of María Corina Machado, barring her from holding popularly elected public office for 15 years.
