According to the WABetaInfo portal, the latest Meta focus regarding “zap” is a major change in its appearance, which should become more modern.
This rumor comes shortly after the release of an update that completely changed the look of WhatsApp for Android, making it identical to the version of the app for iOS.
Now, Meta is another visual change, which, according to the latest report from WABetaInfo, will make the app’s tab bar completely transparent, as opposed to the currently used opaque style.
Still, according to the portal, the new one is still in development, and it hasn’t even reached the Beta testers.
Once developed, the new look will be shown to testers, and if all goes as expected, other WhatsApp users will soon receive an update containing the improvement.
WABetaInfo experts were excited about this rumor and noted that if implemented, this design change would make WhatsApp “more friendly to the eyes”.
