Hi guys! Stay tuned! Your favorite instant messaging app, WhatsApp, may have said goodbye to a number of old smartphones. You know how it is, right? Technological advances and old devices end up being left behind. It happens all the time!

Meta, the company behind WhatsApp, recently released information. From May 31, 2023, a long list of mobile phones simply won’t be able to run WhatsApp. They don’t keep up with technology.

I will explain it better to you. Some old acquaintances from Samsung, such as the Galaxy Core, Trend Lite, Ace 2, S3 Mini, Trend II, and X Cover 2 are on the list. It’s a little sad, isn’t it?

Not just Samsung. A group of LG phones will also be without WhatsApp. The list includes Optimus models such as L3 II Dual, L5 II, F5, L3 II, L7II, L5 Dual, L7 Dual, F3, F3Q, L2 II, L4 II, F6 and a few others including the Enact, Lucid 2, and F7.

And don’t breathe easy just yet, Huawei, Sony, Lenovo, and ZTE users. Huawei Ascend Mate, G740, D2, Sony Xperia M, Lenovo A820 and some ZTE models like V956 – UMI X2, Grand S Flex and GrandMemo are also on the list.

And the list doesn’t stop there. Some other models like Faea F1THL W8, Wiko Cink Five, Winko Darknight, and Archos 53 Platinum are also on the list.

And wow! Beloved iPhones! WhatsApp will stop working on iPhone 6S, SE, and 6S Plus.

That’s it guys. If you’ve been hanging on to these aged beauties, it might be time for a trip to the cell phone store. Stay informed and stay in touch with your friends on WhatsApp!
