    According to information from Google, the location history is a configuration of the tech giant’s accounts that save the places where the user has been in the port of any mobile device. With it, people can access personal maps, as well as some real-time traffic updates.

    Well, it seems that similar functionality can be added to devices with OS Android, which will also provide data about the places visited, organized into a schedule. See more details.

    The Google News channel, from the instant messaging service Telegram, discovered the tool and shared on Twitter how the new one will be made available on smartphones. From the screenshots, it is shown that the Historical Location in device settings.

    In the section, the person has to click on the Location option and then Location Services. Next, you should click on the “Schedule” item, that is, on the so-called schedule. Apparently, the mechanism will show all the places where the person has been, since all this will be recorded by Android sensors.

    Google functions similarly, but everything is synced to your Google account. With the potential novelty, users will have space to export data to other applications. The tool states that it can use information from Google to make the experience more personalized.

    Android’s native feature can enable other software to develop similar upgrades, which also affects Google itself to strengthen Privacy and security so apps don’t abusively track people’s locations.
