Computer scientist Ray Kurzweil, who worked on GoogleHe claimed that technology could lead humanity to achieve immortality much faster than we think. Experts estimate that this target will be reached in 2030.
The former Google engineer believes that technological and medical advances will grow to the point where robots repair bodies at the cellular level, thus being able to “increase human life expectancy” by “more than a year every year.”
This technology provides for the use of nanobots, which will be injected into the bloodstream to perform repairs and connect the brain to the cloud.. Thus, it should be possible to send content directly to brains, as well as be able to back up memories.
Kurzweil also highlighted that the idea is to create a “man-machine” to make humans better. The expert believes that the human race will be able to satisfy the physical needs of everyone and this will expand the minds.
Ray also advocates the concept of the “singularity”, which values the moment when artificial intelligence transcends human control and changes society. With “immortality” achieved in 2030, a potential singularity could be achieved in 2045.
The expert is known for his predictions about the future. In 1990, Kurzweil said that the computer would defeat world chess champions in the year 2000, as well as the advancement of laptops and smartphones, and the rise of the Internet.
